Md. Rafi has the sweetest voice in this world. I can bet no one dead or alive have such a melodious voice and can sing like Rafi Sahab... His voice is like a Life saving drug...

gumsum70000 on Monday, September 06, 2010
Though it was a very good movie, but was nothing if you take out Rafi Sahab voice from it.

bregoji on Thursday, September 09, 2010
RD Burman blew the mouth organ in this movie on request of LP as he was
master of this instrument

kunwarvikas on Friday, September 10, 2010
@deltonthedelight that means yo live in a very small and enclosed word. I
give you just two name among so many. 1. Judith Durham, 2. Jim Reeves. Just
explore the tube. But that does not take anything away from Mr. Rafi.
Indeed, we are blessed to have such a voice among us.

to Majrooh and LP for without them it would not have possible. A good dish
requires good blend.

@fifyfuffu very well said friend. Today's songs stand nowhere in front of
these old Gems. Especially we Indians were blessed with so many creative
lyricists, music directors & above all two people Lata Mangeshkar &
Mohhamed Rafi. Without these two, Indian music would have been hollow.

DUKH TO APNA SATHI HY A tremendous song acted by good looking / innocent
boys Mr. Sudhir Kumar & Mr. Sushil Kumar have set to mind superb &
sensational music, the same has sweeps the viewers off their feet, the
video is so beautiful & memorable. The song has composed superbly, the
great composition with brilliant lyrics, this is really evergreen super hit
song of all times. The big voice of Sir Muhammad Rafi (Late) fascinate
lyrics and made this song endless one.

ash Pra on Wednesday, June 08, 2011
@radoller Rafi rafi and rafi...no comparison ... never was and
never will be... all time greatest playback singer

divaakara on Sunday, June 12, 2011
everybody ia talking about how good looking the the two actors are and the big voice of rafi ji etc, but noone is talking about the great composers laxmikanth and pyrelal. Don't they appreciate the contributions made by composres these days. even in movies these days not much prominance is given to the music directors.

soumyaization on Saturday, June 18, 2011
what a wonderful film it was :)

Mohan Udiavar on Friday, July 15, 2011
THANKS FOR THE SONG. THE BEAUTIFUL MELODY OF LAXMIKANT JI AND SONOROUS
VOICE OF RAFI SAAB IS SIMPLY EXCELLENT. EVERY SONG IN THE FILM IS A GEM

Ravi Sathe on Saturday, August 13, 2011
Wow, how melodious is the intro of violins and guitars.

This is my favourite. Everytime I feel sad, lonely , depressed, I think of the words to this song - ever since I saw this film - when I was little. I am now in early 40s. So imagine what impression it has had on me.

jeetu89100 on Thursday, September 08, 2011
i think 6 people didnt understand the meaning of the song..

darrinthebold on Saturday, September 17, 2011
Lovely song by the great, the inimitable Rafi sahab.
And what a brilliant film. so touching. I was teary-eyed through most of it.
especially towards the end it was so poignant when his own sister disowns him afraid to be associated with a "beggar".

darrinthebold on Saturday, September 17, 2011
Oh yes,and definitely wonderful music by LP.
