@chokhalal very true. it is like asking what your preference is - a
beautiful sunrise or beautiful sunset. it's individual choice. we should
just be thankful that we still have both of their voices in our lives.

PrinceEhich on Saturday, September 11, 2010
@chokhalal what nonsense about todays generation liking kishore, they have
never heard about him at all, if you visit U.K. try to use tube and see for
yourself and the only ones who will be liking them are those paan chewing
types found in remote areas of your country perhaps

@chokhalal
Beg to differ. I happen to be one of 'the current generation' and I adore Rafi. So, FYI, do those I know who love old hindi songs. I like KK too, but when it comes to mastery over vocals, M Rafi wins, hands down. I can't think of anyone else who could sing boisterous, upbeat songs and soulful ballads with equal perfection. There is no song he has sung in which his voice or emotions seem contrived. Again, I do like kishore, but Rafi...he defies description. Magnificent singer. Period.

uncommendable

TheSagaranil on Sunday, October 31, 2010
Old is gold hi nahi diamond bhi. tremendous voice my words slipping from my heart. u Rafi no one match with u.

Jeetu Viveki on Sunday, November 28, 2010
Hats off to the music director... This is one of the songs where lyrics +
music + voice deserve equal applaud.

Jeetu Viveki on Sunday, November 28, 2010
The comparisons between KKji and Rafiji are totally unwarranted. I don't
find why why KK "does not have" the vocals that Rafi had. No one can beat
KK (and perhaps no one can beat Rafi either - they are masters in their own
domain).

The treatment, the nuances, the sheer brilliance is unmatched. Look at the
way he exposes each word with utter deftness, and guile. No singer of any
generation can even imagine to have the natural talent Mohd rafi marhoom
had. Comparisons are repugnant and unwitting.

teentunes on Wednesday, January 05, 2011
@ashfaque63 : i wanted to vote up your comment but i pressed down :( and
now its nt changing. :( sorry. And i completely agree with you

This is one of the most nostalgic lilting numbers of the 60s in the golden voice of legendary Rafi Sahab.
I have made a cover rendition as a humble tribute on my channel - do please review and comment although no one can ever match the great voice and gayaki of Rafi sahab.

nivedita239 on Thursday, February 10, 2011
Rafi ji was gud, no doubt.but Kishore had a voice that goes unmatched till today!!!

Nilanjan Nandy on Monday, February 14, 2011
Please do not Compare Kishore Kumar with Rafi Saab as both were unique in
their own way...Both superb Singers and will forever remain in the Golden
History of Music.

oh man!!! this place kashmir was pure heaven those days!!! anyone would
love to sing song for his love between those chinaar trees!!!great!!

Narayana Swamy on Sunday, August 28, 2011
The film " Mere Sanam" is copy of english fillm " Come September". In "Come
september" there is a beautiful and popular tune played over guitar. Here
for the same situtation OP Nayyar Sab has used this song and dominated by
Guitar, It is a gret cration by OPN and almost comparable in quality with
the famour tune of " Come September"
