like every old song lover am basically in the favour of preserving the
traditions.. u check the gramophone record, u check the cassette cover, u
check the cd, vcd n dvd cover, u check the book of Sahir.. if everywhere u
find it written as Phaili then its you doing it an intentional twist to
ruin urdu as language in India Sir :-)

Such a beautiful song wasted on such an ordinary face. And one guy thinks
she is beautiful, how amazing. In my opinion all hard work of S.D.,Sahir and
Lataji is spoiled here.Actress like Nutan,Madhubala,Gitabali would have
done more justice to this song.

Jagjit Singh Ishar on Sunday, August 11, 2013

God we are lucky to be living to hear this .. We r blessed

Viswanathan Nair on Wednesday, August 21, 2013
Without the western instruments Hindi songs would have that impact, I doubt
whether the so called arrangers got their due credit. Anthony Gonsalves
died in 2012 in Goa.

Vasant Pusalkar on Thursday, August 22, 2013
Dear Viswanathanji, I was in touch with Anthony Gonnsalves, My friend
Shrikant Joshi also made a DVD on him where all the comments were made by
Anthony himself. Many composers praised him a lot. Lataji has very high
regards for Anthony and she expressed it in her speech at Goa.
Orchestration has a great impact on the mood of the song. People may not
know but the composers could not do without them.

Yung Daku on Friday, August 23, 2013
wowww I remember this song my dad used to play it =] brought back sweet
memories

Rajeshwar Kaushik on Monday, September 02, 2013
Of "My name is Anthony Gonsalves" fame!

Vasant Pusalkar on Tuesday, September 03, 2013
Yes Rajeshwarji. LP added the mukhda in the memory of their Guru and
Pyarelalji mentioned it in DVD as well as in another interview. There are
few honest composers like Pyarelalji who recognize the contribution.

Oh my! Every single time I listen to this song it just took me to my
beloved childhood house.
My mothers own a big Philips Radio and every morning when she prepare
breakfast for four brothers we wakes up and start getting ready in the
morning she used to listen to Ceylon Radio and songs like this used to play
on that radio.
I just wish sometime I just dont grow of that era, the beautiful people
like mother, grandmother I missed them so much and these songs just bring
back those memories.

I have feeling that those great Music directors would create even the songs
keeping black and white films in mind. You tend to get lost in the shadows.
