This song is perfect to swing dance on. Who would have thought that
bollywood had such a rich lindy hop culture!

mizzsxcpari on Friday, December 17, 2010
im gonna send this song to alvin on his birthday lol

sheru7mera7naam on Monday, December 20, 2010
THIS was bollywood's successful attempt at adding a westernized touch to its films, it's classy and hip.. it was a trend back then. unfortunately nowadays their efforts at trying to add a western style to their songs has failed miserably...today's directors should watch this and learn a few things from it

ornleifs on Tuesday, February 01, 2011
@sheru7mera7naam So true, for me the 40 to mid 60's were the Golden age of Bollywood Songs after that it's quite dismal and today it's simply pain to the ears.

DilkashGhori11 on Friday, February 18, 2011
@d3siboyz You know she also looks like chini _O_ (Chinese eyes)

Goddess0fBeauty on Tuesday, March 08, 2011
wow Helen looks really young here!

Raja Ganapathy on Sunday, March 13, 2011
The one and only Helen, the original cabaret dance artiste of the golden
era of bollywood films who more or less always got killed on screen, and to
say that she did these type of roles for almost 20-30years is simply
incredible

@BusyRiz Hahahahaha!! My word! That really made me laugh. But the funnier part is, you're not busy selling tapes for 1.99 anymore. LOL.

sjalcapricorn on Thursday, April 28, 2011
All-time great foot-tapping song by the great OP Nayyar and perfectly
rendered by Geeta Dutt. Last but not the least, it is the also the genius
arranger Sebastian D'Souza who has a lion's share in arranging a great deal
of golden era songs, this being a stand-out performance.

Razor Edge on Wednesday, June 08, 2011
@BusyRiz ...Or rather, "Wo Shi But But Ding". Besides, I've also seen a few
Chinese movies that portray Indians in a stereotypical way too.

thefetishkingfarts on Wednesday, December 21, 2011
@sheru7mera7naam "adding a westernised touch"???This was a crass COPY of
jailhouse rock!!! point is that bollywood was NEVER original, just a matter
of how unoriginal!!

Dawa Tsering on Tuesday, June 12, 2012
it was not called bollywood in those days... just hindi/urdu movies.

very true!!

Johnny Brown on Friday, August 17, 2012
Elvis Presley stole rock 'n' roll music from the Africans and made vast
sums of money from their musical expression! Typical white exploitation!

thefetishkingfarts on Friday, August 17, 2012
Rock n roll originated in america with the likes of presley, chuck berry and
buddy holly. They had heavy influences from blacks like blues, jazz et all.
But sounded no way similar to original african roots music

Johnny Brown on Saturday, August 18, 2012
Maybe your right but the African Americans feel differently..

Old is gold. Wonderful dancing by the artistes. I can't believe the movie
is half a century old. If this film is remade in colour, it will surely
break all records. Lovely rocking music.
