V. Siddhartha on Saturday, August 28, 2010 The pictures are meticulously aligned with the words of the geet made
timeless by Khursheed Bano. A later version by Nayyara Noor is also very
melodious, but the KB rendition stands in a class by itself. You gave a
nice secular interpretation of the love theme focused on Madhubala and DK,
but the verse is originally both secular and spiritual in its message; it
easily lends itself to a double-layered meaning .Thanks, myvision22.

S Qasim Hasan Zaidi on Saturday, August 28, 2010 The torment one has to suffer in love has been beautifully recaptured by
you and symbolized with new icons, MB and DK. It was a sad chapter of the
life of the greatest beauty queen of Indian films, who lost her heart in
this deal. You have befittingly selected this song to narrates the true
story of their love. Great work. Thanks Mukhtar Sahab.

kuckudk on Sunday, August 29, 2010 @kuckudk Your selection of Madhbala and Dilip Kumar is very thoughtful and
appropriate. MB loved DK but could not get him and died yearning for a true
lover.

meldious on my Flute. Excellent appropriate videography. Wonderful! Wah Wah
Kya Baat Hai. Aap Ne To Maar Daala. CHEERS, Dr. Kamath

Mukhtar Lyall-puri on Monday, September 06, 2010 @nrkamath43211 Dear Dr. Kamath I am highly thankful for your generous and

chandrashekharjain on Saturday, September 11, 2010 Thank you Mukhtar bhai for creating this difficult video, upon my persistent
request and dedicating it especially to my father Narinder Sain, who was a
great fan of Khursheed. I have been watching the comments by so many
viewers constantly, and I am delighted to that this video has been well
received by all the viewers. It is all due to the imaginative craftsmanship
of Mukhtar ji. . My father stayed in Digamber Jain hostel while at Govt
College Lahore early 40s. Does this hostel still exists?

chandrashekharjain on Saturday, September 11, 2010 @imadbhai1234 Excuse me sir, name of the singer is Khursheed Begum, or
Khurshid begum/ Kuurshid Bano and also known as Irshad Begum. I have never
heard she been called as Tani Khursheed ! Perhaps she was named 'Tani' in
film Tansen This song is from film Bhagat Soor Dass, though spelled
differently at different places. Songs by her in film Tansen were also
good. Please do correct me if I am wrong. Pl. see the video link given
below. More bachpan ke saathi ( Tansen 1942)

60arvind on Sunday, September 19, 2010 well no words except thanks.

Begum Ji. I cannot recall listening to the song previously or if I have not
knowing who who sang it? You hard endeavours, dedication has certainly
realised in fruition in your own imaginative video creativity presentation.
A very enjoyable moment and again thanks for sharing. Best Regards...Siraj

Mukhtar Lyall-puri on Wednesday, February 09, 2011 @Roparwala thanks a lot for liking my presentation.

Milahi1935 on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 Khursheed has sung better than perfectly. Her voice has a seductive quality
unlike any other. She had great range and showed her high notes whenever
the mediocre music composers would compose songs with high notes. Noor
jehan praised khursheed a lot for her ability to sing all kinds of songs.

Mukhtar Lyall-puri on Monday, December 17, 2012 Dear Karam Jeet ji, I am highly thankful for your nice comments. It takes a
pure soul to be able to fully appreciate the anguish, agony and ecstasy of
love and human relationships expressed in this gem by DN Madhok. The poetry
can be related to God also. It depends upon the listener. Best regards

RAJMOHAN CHAUHAN on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 My father always hummed this song when I was just 5-6 year old. I never

Tarsem Lal Gercha on Saturday, August 24, 2013 Thanks for the genuine and nice traslation of the lyrics True, each word of
the lyrics has very deep meanings. In poetry the love of Chanda and Chakore
is well known particularly it is at the top on the full moon day.I.e
why"Jyun jyun preet badaye ga tu, tyun tyun woh gatt jaye..."Ilove this
song too much since my childhood and have HMV record with me. Thanks for
uploading this gem . Prof. Gercha

penta15786 on Sunday, September 08, 2013 Dear Mukhtar Sahib, This song brings back the memory of my late father who
owned a record store and whenever possible used to encourage us to listen
to classics. Now he is gone and I am missing him more than words can
express. To me these songs are a connection to those times when life was
simpler, people were loving, respect for teachers and elders were the norm
and passionate love for God and all his creation was the order of the day.
Yes we have money but nobody to share with.

jaswinder ahluwalia on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 KL Saigal also sang this song. I regard both singers masters par excellence
of their art Maybe some fans may differ and prefer one to the other
