Amitab Bachan. The best there is, the best there was & the best there ever will be...

Pyaar111 on Saturday, June 09, 2012
Amitabh a legend definitely, but commenter who said it is just Khans today...really? What about Hrithik Rosha, Akshay Kumar, Akshay Khanna, Ajay Devgan, Jon Abraham, Abishek Bachnan, Ranbir Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi. They are as talented and popular as Salman, Sharukh and Amir. Stop being biased!

arafatrauf95 on Monday, June 18, 2012
East or west amitabh is the best

i think you have him confused with bret hart. lol

indurnuguri1 on Friday, July 06, 2012
Rajesh Khanna was ruling the roost when Amitabh started his career. He had much competition from Vinod Khanna in the mid 70s and early 80s, then there were Dharmendar, Shatrughan Sinha, Shashi Kapoor. But, Amitabh with his sheer talent swept all of them.

Shahrukh is a fine actor who has done some very good roles but Amitabh is on a different plane. Forget about Amitabh, he is not even in the same league as Aamir Khan or Hrithik Roshan who are the finest actors of bollywood in this generation.

indurnuguri1 on Friday, July 06, 2012
What type of language you are using?
You may love Shahrukh that's fine and is your opinion but why are you cursing another actor?

steve100668 on Monday, July 09, 2012
Amitabh has been the best Indian actor in the last 40 years- SRK, Salman, Aamir and the rest of the muppets havent got a clue about acting- society has changed so badly that they recognise some of these as actors which is a shame- they are expressionless robots

That's absolutely true. He has always had a screen presence that matched that of Hollywood greats like Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Clint Eastwood. Sadly, the audience never accepted him in anything other than the image that he had set on screen and hence he became repetitive in his later years in the film industry. But today, he is doing more and more unconventional roles in films that exploit his acting skills to the fullest extent!!!

gauravsshahane1992 on Monday, August 20, 2012
Rajesh Khanna never had much competition from anyone when he was at the top. So he ruled for that brief period of time. Whereas, Amitabh had competition from Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna, Shatrughan Sinha, Jeetendra and to some extent even Rishi Kapoor. Yet he outdid all of them and retained his No.1 position in the film industry longer than Rajesh Khanna could ever have only imagined to do but did not have the ability to achieve!!!

gauravsshahane1992 on Monday, August 20, 2012
Shah Rukh Khan is not worth even a toenail of Amitabh Bachchan. At the beginning of his career too he needed to imitate the acting styles of Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan to attract the attention of filmmakers. He however lacks the intensity of both these heavyweights in terms of acting, dialogue delievery, screen presence and emoting...

To all the Star Class, Hi-Fi people (those who think themselves to be so, for whatever reason)

Aap bhi meri tarhan insaan ki Aulaad hain...
Aap moonh mangi dua, hum un-suni fariyaad hain...

Apni to jaise taise, thodi aise ya waise kat jaayegi...Apka kya hoga...?

MotherteresaAndme on Thursday, August 30, 2012

Eastwood not in the same league as Bachchan, sorry. Bachchan is the greatest actor there ever lived. Any era, any country, any language.

I love big b too, but better than clint eastwood? c'mon.Even Big B, as humble a guy as he is, would find your post amusing...

tu amitabh ki baat kar raha hai ya bret hart ki .. lol

Saumya Mehta on Thursday, October 25, 2012
Kishore Kumar was the only singer among the past legends who never used harmonium or music paper during his live shows. He even used to start song out of dialogue...he danced while singing and yet used to be full in tune.he is great...

Saumya Mehta on Thursday, October 25, 2012
lol..u r true..i remembered Bret Hart...

Saumya Mehta on Thursday, October 25, 2012
AMitabh looks good due to Kishore's play back...Put some one else's play back and he would not seem as good as this..KK has a big hand behind every great artist career...!

ruldu876 on Sunday, October 28, 2012
Clint Eastwood? Back here in Hollywood Eastwood is a great film personaility b ut more because of his direction skills not his acting..In many movies including his biggest ones like Dollar Trilogy or Dirt Harry he was criticized for his often wooden acting..He had style as an actor he had class butr he wasn't no Brando or DeNiro.. AB is far better actor anyday..

ruldu876 on Sunday, October 28, 2012
Your analysis is even worse.

Be it yesterday, today, tomorrow or be it 100 years later... There will never be an actor and a human being like Amitabh Bachchan.. Forget all the Khans and other so called stars in Bollywood now.. No one is even comparable to the dust of Big B's feet... There can be no one ever in this whole film industry India or world which can see another actor like Amitabh Bachchan

njkansara1 on Monday, December 17, 2012
i think this still working :)
