Has there been anything more sensual than Assha's voice singing this?

MzMauritius on Saturday, April 10, 2010
@montrealvic I don't agree with this role depicting a new wave of female's liberation from patriarchal Indian culture. Its simply adapting a new way to percieve Indian women as 'low status' (in the form of a durg-addict) and perhaps even westernised...so much for eliminating the British rule...it seems to make its way back into Indian culture in the 70s then...

Growing up in India when I heard the word "hippie" I instantly thought this song! And to be honest, it greatly epitomizes what hippies are: peace, love, weed. :)

tilhon on Saturday, June 12, 2010
in the context of the movie from where the video is, what are all those gringos doing in India?

tumejorpose on Saturday, June 12, 2010
@tilhon Lots of hippies came to India during the 1960's to find spiritual enlightenment...and also to get high.

cottageorgan on Friday, July 23, 2010
Wow, the west discovers the east through The Beatles and so the hippie thing is born, then the east parodies the west and it's perception of the east youth culture and music through Bollywood all mixed up in a big bowl of marijuana smoke, free love, queasy organs and Krishna quotes...my heads spinning!!
