my son of 13 years age loves listening allah hoo every night and sleeps to
it ..i have now introduced him to lyrics and translations in
english..i learnt urdu this way listening to nusrat since the
early 1980s.not only urdu but also religion,punjabi,arabic..and
poetry.my son now knows some of all this without realizing the learning
curve .but he will when he reads this...aloo...

When did i say that music is halal, i said its not haram, its a neutral art
which is manipulable both ways, humanity was always found of music , there
isn't a single civilization with out the art of music, including the Arabs
before and after Islam. If you say its haram then its you who should
justify it with a proof, and by the by i think my name should remotely
indicate as to which religion i follow.

there you go. you used opinions of some scholars you wanted to believe, to
label somebody else's scholarly views a "fabrication" ?? by the same
standard dont you think your veiws too stand much fabricated ? Infact
Majority of scholars consider it haram. Bringing a verse from Quran
regarding music is not really a challenge, as it is not for praying 5 times
a day or kalma shahadah. As u kno the source is Quran, Hadith n Sunnah
together. and only after that life of Ashab RA, then tabaeen in chrono.

honor and divine art. somebody praises Alcohol and prostitution just like
music. To shorten it, anything that is held high by Allah, Prophet Muhammad
SAW and Ashab RA is indeed divine n esteemed and deserves to be revered and
practiced as-is, irrespective of century you live in. can you tell me when
did Muhammad SAW, or Ashab RA used Dholak, sitar, sarang, raag, harmonium
etc ? which sahabi was Qawwal ? Allah forgive me.

no the prophet peace be upon him and his gracious companions did't use the
stuff you mentioned because it wasn't a part of their culture yet they have
used musical instruments like the duff and mizmaar which was a vital part
of the arabic culture along side poetry, there is a narration in sahih
albikhari that in the house of the prophet there were two ladies singing
songs during eid. and i can give you the references. You have more
knowledge about islam then the prophet peace be upon him
