Mukhtar saheb your this upload (jul2010) oversighted by me. anyhow i'm
enjoying with your beautiful vdo creation today. best song of hemant kumar
(geetadutt as well). indeed priceless gem as you mentioned. similarly your
creation too. many thanks

Mukhtar Lyall-puri on Monday, March 12, 2012
@saz9297 Dear Zaheer Sahib, This song of Hemant da and Geeta ji and
Jagmohan ji's song "O varsha ke Ke Pehle Baadal" are the songs I have
waiting day and night to listen on the Radio Ceylone in good old days.
These songs made listen other good songs also. I started the video creation
for these songs only. But due to encouragement from my friends like you, i
have been continuing compilation on other songs also.. Thanks for your
appreciation. Best regards Mukhtar

The song is pictured on Ashok Kumar and not Dilip as shown in this clip.
The lip movements are not properly synched. The song is immortal. Thanks

Mukhtar Lyall-puri on Friday, April 06, 2012
Dear friend, You are right. As,t he original video was not available on YT,
I compiled it as I visualize it on Dilip ji. It is not possible to create
and sync the lip movement exactly on the borrowed clips. However, I have
tried my best to look it natural and convey the feelings of this marvelous
song. The Video on Geeta Ji's song is without lip movement. I hope you will
enjoy it. Thanks for the comments Mukhtar

You are right, this beutiful song was picturised on Ashok Kumar. Movie with Dev Anand and if i am not mistaken, it was Meena kumari who sang the same song with play back of Geeta dutt which was even more touching though Hemant kumar has sung so well.

This is a great song. Your efforts to recreate the video are really
commendable.

Mukhtar Lyall-puri on Friday, June 15, 2012
Thanks for liking and appreciating my efforts.

Dilip Gupte on Thursday, July 05, 2012

One of the great songs by Hemant Kumar. Thank you so much. This one takes
me back 50 years, days of love, romance and inevitable heartache.

Dear Mukhtar
I was depressed by seeing the compiled video, which has injured the memory images
of the originalI was carrying since I saw this film in 1954 BAADBAN produced as new experiment in Film Industry, none of the participants charged any money. It had a great music dance by Usha Kiron,Radio Ceylon used many years this music before starting 8 AM programmes.
Please dont do this let us keep our old memories fresh as it was in Golden Times

Mukhtar Lyall-puri on Tuesday, July 17, 2012
Dear Sharma ji, I am sorry if I have injured your memory image. At the time
of video compilation for this marvelous song 2 years back, I never knew
that the original is on Ashok Kumar ji. I would have chosen him. My purpose
is only to revive the forgotten songs. Thanks and best regards Mukhtar

Hemant da and Geetaji both have made this song great

Rajesh Kochhar on Saturday, December 08, 2012
Thanks for uploading the song. You must however respect the sanctity of
history. Do not create false correlations. Thee are number of immortal
songs which deserved better images on the cinema screen. In short, In any
case, Dilaip Kumar does not need any props.

Arun Gupta on Sunday, April 07, 2013
I am envious of you. What would I give to experience the context of the
fabulous music of Baadbaan. Wish the original video was available!

Thanks Gupta ji, Mukhtar

Dr. H.U. Qureshi on Monday, April 29, 2013
Anyway, and inspite of our colleagues' comments - I appreciate Sheikh sb;
you did what you could do! The lyric brought back to my memory when I
watched with my elder uncle in Jubli cinema hall (which I doubt if it
exists now, except in the memoroes of our own age people - the "old
timers") in "my" Delhi!

Dr. H.U. Qureshi on Monday, April 29, 2013
No doubt, SR; Hemant da is great and shall always remain great!

Dilip Gupte on Tuesday, May 14, 2013
Writing to you after a long gap. I still enjoy this song. I dont know if I
have mentioned that the song is definitely from BAADBAAN. Howeover, the
actor on whom the song is pictured is not Dilip Kumar. I had seen this film
about 40 years back and dont remember exactly on whom the song was played,
either Ashok Kumar or Dev Anand. But I am sure that Dilip Kumar was never a
part of this film. Once again thanx for this song. Whenever I hear this
song, i shall remember you.

Mani Menon on Saturday, June 08, 2013
Mukhtar saab, laakh laakh shukriya for uploading this timeless classic of a
song! Never mind the 'modern' lightning introduced by you. ;-) I don't
think Hemantda has sung very many songs for Dilip saab?

Mani Menon on Monday, June 10, 2013
Maaf keejiye ji, mera naam Mani Menon hai! :-)

Mukhtar Lyall-puri on Thursday, June 13, 2013
Dear Mani Menon ji, Thanks for liking my presentation. You are right, I
think Hemantda never sang for Dilip sahib.

gopal sinha on Saturday, June 22, 2013
A memorable song of the great Hemant Kumar, so beautifully written by
Indeevar and composed by Timir Baran for Badban starring Ashok Kumar and
Devanand.

Venkat Warren on Sunday, August 04, 2013
Shukriya and greetings from California. Hemant's voice is good BUT Geeta
Roy's voice for the same song is superior ; her melodious singing is full
of pathos ! Thanks. Venkat.

This movie Baadbaan was made in aid to save the producing company. That
company had introduced many big stars of that time. Everybody worked for
free. But unfortunately this film was a flop.

VOICE"...

Rajib Sarkar on Monday, September 08, 2014
immortal voice.

SDD 1 on Monday, November 24, 2014
One of the greatest songs sung by Hemant Kumar - my favorite singer. His
voice has that something very individualistic and unequaled, like Talat
Mehmood that sets him apart from many other good singers like Rafi.

Uma Rao on Thursday, May 21, 2015
Most haunting melody from movie Baadban sung by Ashok Kumar in the
movie.Thank you.

I love listen to this song again & again. The words, the deep voice of Hemant
Kumar and the haunting music make the song simply outstanding.Words are too
few to describe the depth of the feelings.conveyed in the voice.
