Excellent, clear video and sound plus a wonderful choice ! Thanks
Rupa from Los Angeles.

Joseph C on Saturday, February 09, 2008
Dignified and moderate piece of acting by DA unlike the monkeyish pranks of
the jumping jacks of Bollywood today. Nobody, I mean no body, danves in the
stressts as the present actors do.. GIVE US A BREAK !!!!!!

sonny19xx on Sunday, February 10, 2008
A terrific song by the duo Rafi Geeta set to mind boggling music by OP. Dev
sweeps the viewers off their feet and Shakila is charming. The song is fast
paced and it is immortal. Every Indian must be aware of this song. These
are the kind of songs that defined Bollywood as it is known now.

sonny19xx on Sunday, February 10, 2008
Thanks shdwgrl !!

adityapandit on Sunday, March 23, 2008
Absolutely heart breaking song. Dev Anand at his best with Rafi Saab. Geeta
Dutt in her melodious voice. Its a song which every one knows. Great
picturisation too. And yes, dont forget Shakila ever. what expressions
she has showed all over.. sach much, aankhon mein eeshara karr diya :-)

This is one of the greatest songs ever.Did you know that the interlude was played by my father Mr HS Lall on the ISRAAJ.He passed away 2 years ago.Israaj is a Bengali instrument. Its nice to hear it again and again.

Anirban Bandyopadhyay on Tuesday, October 28, 2008
I did not know that. Thank you very much for the comment. There is also no
chance to convey my regards to your father. Do you play Esraj?

Joseph C on Saturday, November 08, 2008
A LOVELY SONG, though I don't understand a word of the lyric ! That is the
reality of India

Sanju Verma on Saturday, December 27, 2008
Only if Dev Anand Opened his eyes a wee bit more the "Ishara" would have
been more effective lol ;-)... But over all a great song.

alder7445 on Thursday, January 01, 2009
Tusi great ho Rafi saab!!! You are really amazing and Lajawab.
OP Nayyar and Mohammed Rafi, truly a unforgettable combination.

very very sweet song

krishnendu253 on Tuesday, March 17, 2009
Very sweet song. The girl is sweeter. I came to know her name just now. Wanted to know about her biography but could not get it in the internet.

MizzLoveable03 on Sunday, April 19, 2009
What is the name of the female singer in this video?

cyphored on Friday, April 24, 2009
I think so. It was Geeta Dutt's turn to sing and Rafi sahaab forgot to pause. O.P.Nayyarji probably decided to overlook that one small overlap and did not do a re-recording of the song. Eventually, it was covered up in the shooting of the song and how beautifully done!

abc on Thursday, May 07, 2009
you know, this woman is Waheeda Rehman's sister. Saeda Khan.

ANUPAM MISHRA on Monday, May 11, 2009

duragkarprabhakar183 on Sunday, May 17, 2009
People use to count greatness by counting his fame, wealth and other power but they seldom mistake in counting the treasure of good qualities in human being. I am lucky enough to say MOHD.RAFI is the biggest king on the earth because he possess the treasury of highest number of songs ever rendered by a single playback singer with a superb voice quality, highest number of hit songs, highest humber of popular songs, and highest humber of unheared songs, I salute such an uncrowned king Mohd. Rafi

sonny19xx on Sunday, May 17, 2009
Top class ! Absolute melody by Shahenshah OPN sung beautifully by koyal
Geeta and King Rafi . Evergreen immortal hit . Dev and Shakila rock. Anyone
who is familiar with Bollywood knows this song though this song is 55 years
old. Unlike the songs of nowadays which are there today gone tomorrow. The
beauty of this song is that Rafi has only one line to sing which he keeps
repeating for every stanza but we dont ever get bored. We really wait for
his turn. That is OPN . THANKS A LOT shdwgrl

sonny19xx on Friday, July 03, 2009
What a honor for me to reply to you ! You are truly priviliged. Please keep
up the tradition. Thanks for taking time to post this message. THANKS
shdwgrl for giving us a platform to communicate..

oyehoyehoye on Tuesday, July 28, 2009

samreenraza2000 on Tuesday, July 28, 2009
words are so meaningful and so simple. This is the true beauty ..

jkulsh on Thursday, August 20, 2009
Who wrote this song? Jan Nisar Akhtar or Majrooh Sultanpuri? (Some even say
it was written by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan which I doubt.) Thanks.
