Dedicated to my sister Seroj (TT) remember going to the cinema Rajmahal to see this movie. Those were the days of great movies, actors and singers.

Saira Banu is extremely beautiful in this movie. No actress comes even closer to her beauty in bollywood.

Amitabh and Saira Banu look so beautiful together. I don't see such a chemistry between Amitabh and other actresses. This movie really touches my heart.

Altafzaman on Thursday, April 14, 2011
Thanks for downloading this song. Amitabh and Saira do look good together
(see Amitabh "showing off" his hair at 1;52). The movie was also quite
interesting as it tangentially touched on the topic of an incestuous
relationship ("brother" - sister). Great music by Sapan Chakraborti.

every body is writing about Amitabh & Saira Banu..dear friends just listen to Kishore's voice without whom Amitabh's film career would have been incomplete.
Amitabh's personality suited only Kishore's voice...no Rafi, Mukesh etc.
Perhaps Kishore IS the greatest singer in Indian film industry till today.

goswamiirani on Friday, August 12, 2011
Sapan Chakrabarty was influenced by the famous song- Autumn Leaves by the great singer Nat King Cole!!! the chords are the same, only arranged in a little different manner... but one can easily make out the melody from where it is lifted

LOVELY SONG

Kudos to the film fraternity of those days when married heroines like Saira
and Sharmila rocked in commercial roles and popular movies and were
considered A listers! Things have gotten sadder in recent years, married
heroines not getting good roles/ forced to retire . . . .

neelt2001 on Friday, December 28, 2012
Yeap. It's even more evident in the sad version of the song. Incidentally,
when Amit Kumar sang this song live, he started by singing the opening
notes of Autumn Leaves and than transitioned into the Hindi version!

JUST TAKE IT LIGHTLY.BUT SLIGHTLY

What would you do if destiny twisted the road you took? What if it threw
you to a place you did not want to go? Would you fight, would you run or
would you accept? Set across two cities in India in the early eighties,
'Life is what you make it' is a gripping account of a few significant years
of Ankita's life. Ankita Sharma has the world at her feet. She is young,
good-looking, smart and has tonnes of friends and boys swooning over her.
College life is what every youngster dreams of and she also manages to get
into a premier management school for her MBA. Six months later, she is a
patient in a mental health hospital. How did Ankita get here? What were the
events that led to this? Will she ever get back her life again? Life has
cruelly and coldly snatched that which meant the most to her and she must
now fight to get it all back. It is a deeply moving and inspiring account
of growing up, of the power of faith and how determination and an
indomitable spirit can overcome even what destiny...Read more
