Will we ever get this kinda melodious song in todays movies?

Lonely94Maano on Tuesday, December 23, 2008
Kia bath hai, Great :-)

radil505 on Sunday, January 25, 2009
Sadly No. The melody does not exist in today's movie songs. The few good
tunes that we get today are ripped off form Wetern, or ghazals and Qawallis
of likes of Nusrat Fateh Ali etc.

alexshaun98 on Thursday, February 05, 2009
Yesudas-you are simply great! It's sad that you didnt sing more Hindi
songs-it's our loss.

Raj Jodha on Friday, March 13, 2009

The youngsters of today dont know what they have missed when you listen to
the brilliance of artistes such as Yesudas. I am grateful I grew up in this
era.

Just amazing!!
Beginning to end it's wonderful feeling. Someone said right about Mr KJ Yesudas. It's my all time favorite voice, always hunting.
Thanks for sharing.

Kalyan Rani on Friday, July 10, 2009
Love this song...thanks...

Surinder Dhupar on Saturday, July 11, 2009
Yasudas voice is just sweet.

vinodkollam1 on Thursday, August 06, 2009
There are many reasons for Yesudas not having sung many hindi songs. First of all Bollywood does not very often produce songs like these which needs to be sung by a singer of Yesudas' calibre. Most of the time the range of their film songs are such that those could be sung by a good club singer. Everybody knows that there was some animosity against him in Bollywood when he became popular. It could be the ego or the feeling of threat by the established people towards a talented singer like him.

ritu dhindsa on Sunday, March 14, 2010
I am from North INdia. I have enjoyed every hindi song that Yesu has sung.
He could not become popular in hindi songs, not because he could not sing
but because bollywood did not have songs of his calibre. His class was so
high and pure that nobody would have done justice to his classicle class.
God bless him. I do not understand the words but i enjoy his Maliyali songs
as well.

Sree Ramana on Monday, March 15, 2010
@ritu8860 Your words,"His class was so high and pure that nobody would
have done justice to his classical class" ARE SO RIGHT...He is simply
superb!!!

ritu dhindsa on Monday, March 15, 2010
And look at his face. He reminds me of Jesus Christ. I think this how jesus
must have looked like..

ritu dhindsa on Monday, March 15, 2010
This movie has many of his other good songs as well.

ritu dhindsa on Tuesday, March 16, 2010
Thanks. I did listen to that song you sent me. It is nice. You took so much
of effort to send it. Thanks.

@hato2501 With all due respect sir..We still listen and understand this
music despite of being a youngster. My sibling who is just 11 is
obssesed with yesudas, mukesh and madan mohan..and so do i...

hato2501 on Monday, September 27, 2010
@niharikabushal - it makes me happy to hear that there are young people
such as yourself who enjoy & appreciate such quality music/lyrics/singers.
My comment was not meant to be a deragatory statement towards youngsters -
just an observation.

asterixsan on Tuesday, September 28, 2010

Kishore Kumar once jumped on him, with a double-barrel gun, at an awards
function, threatening to shoot him, if he ever came again to Mumbai.
Yesudas' ego was hurt by this life-threatening and insecurity of
Bollywood's singers. All his later songs were then recorded in his studio,
Tarangini, Madras. He still doesn't come to Mumbai for any recordings or
shows, paying homage to late Kishore...such is his greatness !!
