protagonist heroine Nutan asks the hero Talat who sings for himself, why he
fell for her, when so many other beauties are around. He answers (
dishonestly ) that his is true love. So typical of the 40s and 50s Hindi
film world when pretty minor girls will be forced into the film business
and the guardians ( mostly parents ) will never let them go for they are
golden egg laying goose or golden sparrows or sone ki chidiya.
