Asha didi is an excellent singer everyone knows that and she is very very
innovative we know that as well but for this song especially somehow her
way of singing is not at all liked by us. Mehdi Hassan Sahab ke saath to
bilkul hi no match. The thought content or the emotion of the words are
totally lost . We are hurt .

asha and lata, no doubt, were once reigning queens. i loved to listen to
them without a break. but its high time they stopped singing and spoiling
well written ghazals. they lost their youthful voice.. there is peak period
in every ones life/career.. they and those who make them sing should
realize that their voice is not the same. listeners who applaud them are
of new generation or if they are elders, they don't have an ear for good
music.

Jaan But she is way past her prime and does disservice to this beautiful
