This ghuzal is more than a nice ghuzal. Singer is mesmerizing his listeners with the repetition of first line RAASTAY YAAD NHEEN... rah-numa yaad nheen...

shairy oozaan se mutaaliq kuch basic literature ka mutalia karen ta ke aap
ko alfaaz ki nishat o barkhast aur qafia radeef ki khobsoortiyon ka mazeed
pata chal sakay. Dosray ye ke kuch asaataza maslan Mir, Gjhalib, Momin,
Aatish, Daagh, Hasrat, Iqbaj, Faiz, Faraz, Josh etc.(cont.)

sha-ir ka mayaar kitna baland ya past hai aur iss ne ye khayaal kahan se
borrow kia hai. Shayad aap ne Saghar ki mashoor ghazal, "Hai due yaad magar
harf e dua yaad nahin" bhi suni ho aur aisi darjanon achhi ghazlen. I

I picked urdu literature as an elective subject in my collage days and had a chance to understand its depth. i had also a great opportunity to sit in the class of a legend ILTAF FATIMAH, the famous writer of urdu adab. I felt at that time that no language is more powerful than urdu. Today, i feel that there is no language in this world except urdu. URDU is the language of peace n love.The fragrance of urdu is spreading all around.

But I want to add one more thing that every individual has his own qualities n no one can measure these qualities without knowing each other. I don't want to exaggerate (as i am a very humble n down to earth person) but can say one thing without hesitation that i can find out thousands of meanings from a single line of poetry. I'm also very good at writing, AZAD NaZMS.

in poetry and music, though I am still a learner, as one always remains. My
love for Urdu poetry was so strong that I remembered by heart about three
quarters of Dewan e Ghalib when I was only in class seven. I felt strange
rhythm in it, because I loved music also. Later it was in my college days
that I remembered more than three quarters of all poetry of Ahmed Faraz

There is no comparison about your great knowledge. I had read all the great kalam n classical urdu literature in a very young age because my father had a huge collection of all these stuff. As result i was so confident in my college days that for my URDU exams never bothered to learn Ash'ars but always wrote down my own ash'ars.

Actually, is ghazal mai shair ny sirf itna kiya hai k jo qafiye sagar ki ghazal main musta'mil hain unhi ko apni
soch aur past tkhyal ki madad-e-by sood sy apni ghazal main thons dia hai.
Is ghazal main misra likh kr hasb zroort qafia nahin likha gya balky qafia utha kr
hasb e zroort misra mukamal kiya gya hai.
