This is a rare masterpiece! There are millions of love songs, but how many times have you come across a song like this where the hero curses his love. The lyrics and Rafi sahibs voice are untouchable!

alemoh on Friday, June 29, 2007

This song made us tear all, during this film, many years ago, although my
friends and I did not know the language that time. I can remember great
times during the real prosperity of the Indian cinema; and I think Indian
songs formulate the way lot of people in our world feel or love.

First of all Mohammad Rafi's timeless voice and then Fantastic expressions of Dharmendra. The poetry is so uniqiue that never repeated in Bollywood again yet.
Zabardast Gaana in all ways!

The movie is Aaye din bahar ke, rafi saab singin for dharam ji. Rafi saab,
like a soul singing for us, for our emotions. HE is really a god's miracle,
so much emotion in da voice, we really miss singers like him. And Dharam
ji, awesome looks for a wonderful songs. U really rock papaji..

inappro on Friday, December 05, 2008
Totally agree with you 'zeetrance'!! Couldn't have said it better than
'maniacjd'!! More you praise Rafi Saa'b the less are the words for doing
that. And He was a simple man all his life, a true role model :)

AliHK167 on Friday, January 23, 2009
kahan gaye yeh poetry ? Mere Dushman Tu Meri Dost ko Tarsay Mujay Gham
Denay Walay, Tu Ghushi ko Tarsay

russel ahmed on Thursday, April 02, 2009
you are right ...we all miss the magical voice of rafi.he was the
best...

nandu1f on Friday, May 01, 2009
Great tune. However, I agree with kuttarakam & beakybuzzerd that the words
are too harsh and a genuine lover does not use such damning sentiments.
However, I did not watch this movie to know how the the characters were
painted!

princemalik21 on Wednesday, May 27, 2009
Rafi Rafi Gee, there is no one in India to beat even yet, and that fake Sonum Nigam, who tried a lot to copy you but fail to recognise his own identity, and the fact is that he was given job not because he had talent but his voice has a bit similarity with Rafi. Rafi was one and unique. Allah rest your soul in peace and eternity. I am one of your best fan.

YAZZZful on Sunday, June 28, 2009
wonderful tune. fullof curses,,,

Diptiranjan Mishra on Thursday, July 09, 2009
True feelings penned down... rarely found..

russel ahmed on Wednesday, September 02, 2009
Ur right Rafi was so unique ...whenever he sings for someone it looked as
if that person on screen is singing...Rafi is really unique in all
ways...incredible voice..really unmatched...I feel that its really gifted...

Krishna Pandey on Wednesday, October 07, 2009
O that the curses of a broken herat ever heard by God and He will become so
good to shed all the curses on the deceivers of love! AMEN!!!

Shahid Jutt on Friday, October 09, 2009
one of my favourite song thank u so much for shairng

vinayfound on Saturday, November 21, 2009
The last line is stanza is particularly damning... Tere gulshan se zyada
veeran koi veerana na ho... Is duniya mein tera apna to ho kya, begaana na
ho... kisi ka pyaar kya, tu berukhi ko tarse. Let alone love, you will not
even merit anyone's hate!!

soph6ia on Sunday, January 17, 2010
Wow. After all these comments I'd love for an English translation (this is a urdu-heavy song). I listen to this song very often and now I'm very curious. What is our gorgeous Dharmendra actually saying.

dhun01 on Friday, January 22, 2010
i love this song

stenderify on Saturday, January 30, 2010
well dharm is saying that on the surface you(girl) were presenting yourself as the friend but deeep down you were totally a real enemy. from 0.38 to0,48 he is saying that deep seated enemy that you should suffer from my being as no longer your friend showing genuine feelings towards you earlier. 1.04 to 1.11 he says that since you have offered me sadness i now want you not bo be happy either. just i suffer from

Devinder Kumar on Thursday, February 18, 2010
He just wants that she is in the same state as he is so that they are
together even in misery. He is actually describing his own state. Just see
the mood of Rafi Sahab and Dharmendra.

Hifaz Ahmed on Tuesday, March 30, 2010
I really like this song a lot..a person whose heart is broken in
love..finds this song very heart toucing,,

rudraa89 on Thursday, April 08, 2010
I dont think lyricist Anand Bakshi got carried away...in this he is sayin hw much he is hurt or scatterd because of her.he is not cursin her bt just showin her at what height he is bein hurt...

gmdchanar on Friday, April 09, 2010
