Awesome maestro RD Burman's early melody sung by Lata & Rafi on Helen and
Mehmood

yes.this was the song that satisfied my quest for melody.there is a gem you should search, and search for "jaal" a movie with lp as music directors and biswajeet and mala sinha as lead actors which has melodious songs.

Helen is perhaps the most scintilating star/dancer of our times. She oozes
freshness and childlike innocence even when moves might come across as
suggestive.

So nice of you...this film was seen nearly 35 years ago.

Its all about Helen. She has really excelled herself in this film
particularly in this song. She looks so beautiful. Lata did very well with
Rafi and RD Burman and Mehmood.

What we remember from childhood we remember for ever. It was one of those
days when we were dependent on Radio Ceylon; this was the only source at
that time. We used to fulfil our desires through this channel. Now Rajshree
ji you are doing excellent work and providing services to the music
listeners, an opportunity so they can listen what ever they want and when
ever. Well done.I would like to thank you for your efforts. You deserve
tapping. Keep it up.(01-02-2011)

This could have been easily a song from a 2012 hindi film. The arrangement
is as fresh as a Rahman or Amit Trivedi song today.Pancham was a genius.

gopal sinha on Tuesday, April 16, 2013
