Priyanka, thanks for uploading this masterpiece of Bhupen uncle. Also could it be possible for you to upload the Assamese version for a nostalgic excursion. I just can't find it anywhere. Although I spent majority time with Hindi and English... but my affinity will always align with Assamese since I spent formedable years of my young life in that part of the world. I am so emotional...I better not ajar my "Pandora" box now. Thank you again.

Priyanka Deori on Sunday, October 31, 2010
@dasdarcy well unfortunately i dont have the assamese one .. well it took
me years to get this one had to google several pages but maybe if i push
myself a bit more i will get that somewhere ... whenever i get the assamese
version will upload and will let u know ...

Thank you...I also adore the pictures that you have embedded in this video as if they solidify an innocent anecdote of a young couple "Mirva and Nathan" in somewhere in Midwest sometime ago. Life was so beautiful and giving then they were collecting colors from the rainbow. As fall fades to cold winter, I ever wonder if their saga had the similar conclusion of "Ram and Sita"

@dasdarcy I hope not . one thing is beyond my comprehension that why all
true love sagas have a sad ending .. i have seen a live example when i was
in guwahati .. there was this couple in love since 8th standard sapna ba
and amrit da .. amrit .. they had to face a lot during their journey to
love and amrit da had to prove himself that he is worth the being her hubby
... they got married after 2 years had a child cute girl .. and then amrit
da was killed by his own boss in Puri ..

@dasdarcy A love story that lasted for about 12 years and had such a tragic
ending .. sometimes life is so unfair . i guess now their daughter is
about 7 or 8 years old

dasdarcy on Tuesday, November 02, 2010
I am so sorry Pryanka and livid at most to see what happened to Sapna and Amrit. I hope and pray his legacy lingers just for daughters' sake. I am so sorry...may be I should not have opened that vault that I ever desire to keep it shut. May be I should not have divulged details. It will be OK...it will be alright as I assured and comfort to my little ones with that famous conundrum...

Its the trumpet of a prophecy! O Dear,
If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?

@dasdarcy Ode To The West Wind by Percy Bysshe Shelly .. He is one of my
fav poet .. His poems have some melancholic touch in them .. .. Ozymandius
is my fav

dasdarcy on Wednesday, November 03, 2010
Shelly indeed...I am impressed. Melancholy yet vibrant...I also sensed that from Bhupen uncle when I had a tranquil moment with him once. His angelic voice had a poetic overtone that I ever treasure. As I said goodbye worrying about him, he utter slowly with a radiant smile..."Who says I am alone, Me and my shadow...(in Assamese)". My heart felt with joy and I wanted to shout as hard as I can... My name is Ozymandius, King of Kings.

On a footnote, I am encouraged that you are using both cases than using only lower case in a sentence. I even badgered my college buddy Todd from Iowa for gradual decline of English here due to portal like Facebook and YouTube. He hesitantly agrees with me and refers as a "Societal Entropy". Also I can feel he is enjoying our exchange as a side spectator. He tends to have more knowledge about India than me and I will always love to nominate him as a "Virtual Encyclopedia".

Priyanka Deori on Thursday, November 04, 2010
@dasdarcy Well got used to lower case ... Worst was during my grad finals
as I was used to type n instead of and and d instead of the so I had to do
a complete spell check once I finished writing... Woops forgot.. Wish you
and your family and also the side spectator a happy diwali.. Starting from
durga puja till new year I always stay in a jolly mood ... I guess I enjoy
the festivities more than I should :P ..
