Comments for song "Kisi Ke Dil Ko Sanam Le Ke Yu Nahi Nahi Nahi Jaate"

This song was written by Shaily Shailendra as credited in the original
soundtrack of the record. As for the song being left out of the movie, I
saw this in Singapore in the mid 70s and same was picturised on Babita! Am
wondering which release you saw, my dear Shashi! On the orchestration and
composition...what more can I say but the sheer arrogance of Raj Kapoor and
his inner circles led to the shunning of Shankar after Jai's demise! Very
regretful!!!

For "indian" market, this song was edited out of the film. May be this song
was there in "international" market version of the film. That explains the
reason.

We all are unaware of the happening between RK and Shankar jee. I can't
believe that RK had deserted Shankar jee due to any personal reason. As it
was RK who had given the chance of Barasat to Shankar jee only. Jai saab
came later on on insistence of Shankar jee. It was RK who brought Sharda
from Iran to India with a promise to help. So whatever might have happened,
it may be pure commercial.

Raj Kapoor was a lousy actor and most of his movies became hits becuase of
the wonderful music of Shankar -Jaikishan. Most of the title songs of RK
banner was composed by Shankar and became super hits. Raj Kapoor was
utterly ungrateful when he deserted Shankar soon after the demise of
Jaikishan when Shankar required his support more than ever. Anyone even
with a little knowledge in music will know that the quality of music after
RK parted ways with SJ to be precise after Kal Aaj Aur Kal was no match to
his earlier movies. Shankar was a broken man when he died, but never
compromised till the end. Hats of to SJ

This beautiful song by Sharda ji resembles to quite an extent with yet
another beautiful solo rendered by her for the film "hare kanch ki
chudiyan", that is, "khushi ke rang mein, khilti hui bahar rahe..."

"Envying" is so harmful a trait. Deprives the society of its deserving
pleasures at the cost few individuals' whims and fancies. This beautiful
song in Sharda ji's voice should have been included in the film.
