All of us,instinctively, strive for enduring pleasure through our
lives.Beautiful poetry, enchanting music, and elegant dance are some of
those wondrous and inspirational entities, that help you attain that
pleasure. In this song,if one is able to see beyond the melodious
composition by HK,the excellence shown by LataJi and Suman in singing, and
the exquisitely charming dance performed by Helen and Sheila Vaaz, one can
clearly feel the ecstasy of nature!! Thanks Arshia.

I assume that Chand is lone film where Shailendra and Hemant Kumar
combined. Film contains 2 other beautiful songs; Khohi khohi akhiyan tere
bina - Lata and Aaja chandni hamare gali chand leke aaja - Lata chorus.
Suman was a radio singer and introduced by Nashad in film Darwaza. It was
blamed that Lata was obstacle in her career. For Helan I say that she
snatched crown from Cuckoo and dominated the arena until Bindi arrived in
late sixties.

Quite right, this is the only song that the great Lata-Ji consented to sing
with Suman Kalyanpur... one wonders why.. or rather one does NOT wonder
why...!
