WOW WOW WOW

Anshuman Biswas on Monday, August 13, 2012
well.. at 1st it was ruining it for me as well.. but the more I listen to
it.. I think it gives it that little zing .. it's probably a third minor
over the major .. and Karsh probably wanted to show off a bit..

Harsh Shah on Monday, August 13, 2012
Awesome composition!!!!

darklord9252 on Monday, August 13, 2012
Why I heard the Jeff Buckley version I think that's the sole reason I don't
like this song

Roycin on Monday, August 13, 2012
4 people have herpes.

Roycin on Monday, August 13, 2012
I asked her this. It was meant to be this way. She comes back on track
after the first line. And it repeats. Yes?

gurbi gill on Monday, August 13, 2012
coke studio shud sing all punjabi sufi only ...

KARSH KALE on Monday, August 13, 2012
Its purposefully left that way. The minor note is the way the song
acctually starts...Its an artistic choice to drop it into the major chord
of Hallelujah that way . Much like Trent Reznors Hurt always drops that one
minor not in a major progression in the verse... As explained by
kiratantani ...its the surprise of a minor note that seems to throw some
people off.But it as equally harmonious to others..

Amrit Das on Tuesday, August 14, 2012
Epic! One of the best versions of this song around... seamless travel
between two songs, never seemed two different ... and Shilpas Jhoola is abs
fine, its just that we are so used to traditional 135 harmonies that it
might throw you off when coming from hallelujah to Jhoolah , but its abs
fine and that's why its good composition :-).. this episode is so good to
hear after the utterly let down one from EL. ... .

Arpit G on Tuesday, August 14, 2012
It Shouldn't be. Especially since they film the show three times and edit
all three takes for final take.

rongcup on Tuesday, August 14, 2012
love how the flute just rides into the acoustic guitar sounds in the
beginning. The vocals are just perfect. Guitar solo's got much soul n
control... too good. And to all those who think Shilpa Rao's voice is off
when she enters, you must be TONE DEAF. Haven't u heard of blue note or
that brown note? GREAT FUSION work. REFRESHING !

Siddhant Mani on Tuesday, August 14, 2012
Dislikers Listen To Bieber! Karsh Kale & Warren Mendonsa FTW :D

Shashank Ashtikar on Thursday, August 16, 2012
I like the Rufus Wainwright version better...

vivekabhichandani on Thursday, August 16, 2012
Thanks for giving Warren his space for this fabulous solo.. frankly he was
severely under-utilized in previous episodes.

fraud1980 on Friday, August 17, 2012
its a bluesy note... its slightly lower in pitch than whats commercially
used.. But I think it works beautifully.

Gorden Lopes on Friday, August 17, 2012
thats the first thought which came when she start singin!...surprising that
they did not catch this!

nandopatoch on Saturday, August 18, 2012
Oh my, what a transition from Karsh's voice to that of Shilpa, great
production, great song, greatness all around!

Gyanesh Diwan on Sunday, August 19, 2012
Name it hallelujah-Amraiyya-saiyya..!! Awesome... :)

Mohit Garde on Monday, August 20, 2012
dats a sharp note dat shes singin, shes nt off but it feels off, dats thr
creativity :)

Ash Kumar on Monday, August 20, 2012
She's just gone into a different raaga and comes back. She's not off. She's
friggin pitch perfect.

wiggle219219 on Tuesday, August 21, 2012
shes off everyime she says jhoola like that so im assuming shes meant to be
kinda out there

wiggle219219 on Tuesday, August 21, 2012
lol, you're right that shes not off. but not about the sharp note thing.
but a sharp note dusnt always necessary feel off. infact, most of the notes
shes singing might be sharp notes. what she dus there is shes singing a
note off the scale. shes adding a chromatic touch. any note out of the
corresponding scale feels off. it myt be sharp, myt not be sharp, myt just
be a natural note.

Mohit Garde on Tuesday, August 21, 2012
Exactly a chromatic note, and yeah shes puttin it unnecessarily :P but m
kinda sure its a sharp, or may b not but still dat note sux :P :D hehe

1mallumaverick on Tuesday, August 21, 2012

Epslon on Wednesday, August 22, 2012

league of listeners! i guess "munni badnaam hui" may suit ur taste...

Sffrntgr on Friday, August 24, 2012
Brilliant. Seriously. Its taken me a few times to listen to this and I can
now appreciate the complexities and layers of this song. So proud of you
Karsh.

Arpan Peter on Saturday, August 25, 2012
Have you heard of an invention called the ear bud? Yes you need a few.

1mallumaverick on Saturday, August 25, 2012
another cheap attempt to pass off useless junk as gold.better luck next
time, kiddo.

Goutham Mehta on Saturday, August 25, 2012
Guys, if Shilpa Rao singing that way, believe me that she meant it that way

prometheanSoul on Tuesday, August 28, 2012
ok ,i believe you :P

trollguy357 on Saturday, September 01, 2012
One of your favourite videos is Kolaveri Di! So much for useless junk...

1mallumaverick on Saturday, September 01, 2012
although that song can be categorized under 'bathroom songs', but atleast
the lyrics are audible ..expressions are quite natural and no over the
top melodrama.

Jeremiah Dsilva on Monday, September 03, 2012
Warren. India has some great guitarists .These guys need more recognition
