song picturised on Bimla Kumari and Bhagwan. Bimla Kumari also sings " hawa mein udta jai mera lal dupatta malmal ka.." in film Barsat. Ten years later she can also be seen singing "meri jan o meri jan achha nahin itna sitam, mujhe na ched sanam mar gai mein teri qasam.." in 1962 film Sahib Bibi aur Ghulam while performing a mujra for Rehman.

Dear All. There has never been written and composed such a soothing, sweet, melodious and heart touching lullaby (LORI) , as this one. Written by GR8 Rajinder Krishan, composed and sung by GR8 C. Ramchander. When ever these two legends came together, Superb Magic was created, this one is the finest example. What to say, we are proud of this legacy , we are proud of Rajinder Krishan ji, C. Ramchander ji. If Hindi was the language of Hollywood, this was SURE OSCAR- Dr. R.K.SHARMA

my all time favt.film with sweet melodious songs & what a great gracefully dancing by Bhagwan dada, now a days no any film-maker can think even to make remake.

This is not an ordinary song - magical words of Rajendra Krishna, fine
musical score by C Ramachandra and emotional singing by Lata Mangeshkar and
C Ramachandra proving again that he is not an average singer are the
highlights; besides, stars performance is noteworthy. This is a sad version
and is in complete contrast to the other version - lullaby like solo. The
same tunes played on different sequences! This one is sad and beautiful.
Thank you for revival of old memories.

Incidentally, today is the birth anniversary day of C Ramachandra - genius
composer and singer (DOB: January 12, 1918). Only very recently rich
tributes were paid to him on the death anniversary day (Died on January 5,
1982).

The concept of Lori has now disappeared in our films. But in the Golden era
of music .lori was very much there and this lori by Chitalkar & Lata is by
far the best.Immortal.You can not get to listen to such devine music.Only
the other lori which I bracket with this is the one which was sung by
Hemant Kumar &Lata in film Shabab.
