susheel sundar on Saturday, September 03, 2011
Great work again, Shankar! :) The same magic again.

Raghunath S on Saturday, September 03, 2011
asai could be ashai in a different dialect, debatable, aassai has its roots
its aasha, i am from a smiliar, if not same community which uses such a
dialect and to replace all sa, with sha is plain ridiculous solven and
nesam are pure tamil words and cant be sholven, nesham. NeSHam ?? please
its really bad, this makes one lose interest in the song, we re waiting for
the mistakes

Balaji eevunni on Saturday, September 03, 2011
I agree @divya-always pronounciation needs to be right, whatever may be the
language.hope they correct when they sing the next song.

susheel sundar on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@sribalaji2000 Awwh? i don't even understand tamil :/, does that one word
judges entire song?

Arun Nathan on Saturday, September 03, 2011
Great song. :) Please watch the 'sa'. Of course, everyone has their way of
speaking the language, but one shouldn't divert too much away from the core
nature of it. Tamil syllables only require less amount of air to be
breathed out. It's the nature of Tamil. The most stressed sounds in Tamil
are "vallinam" letters and even they are not that stressed. :P Every sound
has a psychological effect on a person. It's like 'na' or 'ni' sounds
sweeter than 'ta' or 'ti'. Tamil = sweet. :)

Santosh Kumar on Saturday, September 03, 2011
i dont know why ppl start noticing th mistakes from such a great effort put
together by the talents...rather than enjoying the peace in it.. nywy

@KarmaKomic tnxx bro:) gud blog...but they have added KJY in mispronouncing
singers.even Tamil savers like Seeman have appreciated him for his high
quality tamil songs.

Vinod Kumar B G on Saturday, September 03, 2011
Liked the bass patterns (could hove been little smoother) particularly. Any
way wish you all the best Shankar & team. O Re Piya was splendid!

Nina Menon on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@KarmaKomic well said, are u a malayalee? i totally agree with you, most
tamilians can't pronounce their consonants well especially words starting
with " sha" would be a " sa" for them.. :)

Nina Menon on Saturday, September 03, 2011
you sisters have such an amazing and melodious voice.. honestly , it's just
amazing.. i could just listen to you girls singing all day... and
shankar... your music just keeps getting better and better... :)

Arun Nathan on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@KarmaKomic Some people can't say the 'zha' sound. Usually, it needs more
practice. We shouldn't pick on them. :-( Every language has it's own traits
and one should respect that. There is a feel to how a language sounds. For
example, there are many words in English taken from french language but
when they pronounce them, they pronounce it in English. That's what makes
them English and not french. "Asha" is Sanskrit and "Asai" is Tamil but
"Ashai" sounds alien to both these. :-/

Prajwal Bhat on Saturday, September 03, 2011
A bunch of awesomely talented individuals get together to create
magic... and the best we can do is start judging their pronunciation!
Losers. :P GO SHANKAR !

Prajwal Bhat on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@gudaharishgudaharish Mate, get a life. Have the heart to appreciate true
talent. (I can only presume your as talented as these individuals?)

preethivin menon on Saturday, September 03, 2011
music needs no language...so who cares bout the pronounciation...as long
the music touches the soul and the heart...enjoy and shut up

UAEDisaster on Saturday, September 03, 2011
I wish u add translation . Excellent performance

Kathiravan Manogaran on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@divya1688 learn to appreciate the finer things in life. These folks have
brought back my love for the language, which has been a formidable task to
say the least. I hope you'll learn to appreciate beauty without
judgement...one day.

Vs Krishnan on Saturday, September 03, 2011
It is not the pronounciation that matters. What matters is the Bhava, the
devotion, the Thala, Raaga and Laya and there elements were on top in this
song. Very good, Vidya Vandhana and Shankar Tucker, I am very impressed.
There is a divinity in your voice. Intha Voisai Naan Marakkamatten

PresyNaras on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@KarmaKomic Sorry dude/dudette, but it is a wrong pronounciation and as you
said, tamil purists should start correcting their own language and that is
what people are trying to do here again. I am not aware of the word "Asha"
and if it came from sanskrit, but there are a lot of words which are
similar in both tamil and sanskrit, but neither have origins with the other
as you state. This asha is asai, and people who corrected it are right.
Anyway good performace here. Love this song...

Ruben BFM on Saturday, September 03, 2011
see. we Indians always have something to complain about, don't we? For
GOD Sake ENJOY THE MUSIC!!!!

PresyNaras on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@vsk1940 And many people do pronounce things in certain way thinking it is
a lot cooler, when clearly it is not. And nobody is trying to blame others
and people are not condemning the song because the pronounciation is wrong.
And Pronounciation does matter with all the things you've stated. People
try to correct as a tamil song sung in proper tamil, is a lot more
beautiful. This work is awesome no doubt, but people are just suggesting
that it can be better with proper pronounciation.

PresyNaras on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@D0NQuiXotE Rightly said bro, but I dont think people are judging but just
trying to help the creators of this work a bit more. This with a proper
pronounciation will be even more beautiful. It already is a very beautiful
performance. I am becoming a fan of this group of people. Hope they create
more wonderful works

sharon susan sam on Saturday, September 03, 2011
Guys.. Just chuck the argument for God's sake!! After all it took an
American and two NRI girls to bring us our music back!!!! And if you all
really think you want them to focus on pronunciation, make the comments in
a positive way. We, Indians are not only famous for our passion for our
languages, but also for our hospitality. Treat people and speak to them
with respect. Thats what makes u true Indian and true Tamilian in that
case!!!

sharon susan sam on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@TheShrutibox awesome music, Jus can't take the music out of my head..
God Bless!! Go on...

Renu Raj on Saturday, September 03, 2011
@thejimail Omg dude, seriously? Can you not pollute this beautifully
composed music with such comments? If you have something against it, just
don't listen.

musicomics on Saturday, September 03, 2011
Awesomeness. Way to go guys !
