Beautiful duet by Rafi sahab and Suman Ji.Grossly underrated for obvious
reasons.

great quality!

Mohammed Rafi was one of the greatest singers of India. Even though he
passed away 29 years ago, his golden voice will live forever in the minds
and hearts of music lovers.

Syed Azmath on Monday, January 24, 2011
lovely duet i cant getting words to praise such an beautiful track lovely
lyrics by majrooh sahab beautifully compossed by roshan sahab about singers
no need tomention anything about them they are simply great.

Milahi1935 on Wednesday, April 27, 2011
Suman and Rafi have made this duet a masterpiece. Rafi obviously does not
need any praise as he is perfect. The singing of Suman needs a detailed
appraisal. She has sung this song better than Lata could have. Her
superiority would have become more obvious if the music composer had the
talent to add higher notes for her to sing. Suman has a higher range than
Lata, but this quality of hers was seldom utilized by the mediocre music
composers who became famous for no real reasons. Only in one duet

why does pradeep kumar look like a piece of white chalk?

I quite agree with Milahi1935 in his appraisal of Suman Kalyanpur. But one
must not forget that Roshan was the one music director who never bowed to
any pressure and regularly gave beautiful songs to Suman K in all his films!

What agreat song Sung by Rafi A& Suman Lyrics By Majrooh and the music by Roshan. No one can compete this music God bless them they left a great wealth for the music world

Viswanathan Suresh on Monday, August 08, 2011
Yet another great song from Rafisaab & Suman ! Personally, I prefer Suman
Kalyanpur to Lata. It sad that Suman was never given her full due by the
music industry. Suresh France

The word hai,by Sumanji was added to give a little more attraction to this
romantic song, but I believe she said it very loud , instead it should have
been very soft to serve the purpose.I personally believe so.

Suresh Tulsiani on Tuesday, October 04, 2011
fantastic.makes my day whenever i hear it.thanks and God bless to all
involved in making this evergreen song...

Ajay on Wednesday, October 19, 2011
@Milahi1935 - I am not sure I would call Roshan Saab mediocre. The notes
and the modulations are a function of the song and the lyrics, and I would
assume adding them for the sake of adding just to accentuate a singer,
would do nothing to enhance a music director's reputation. If you called
current music directors mediocre, then I would consider it high praise :)

Milahi1935 on Wednesday, October 19, 2011
@ajay1124 Roshan was a good composer but most of his tunes lacked high
notes. It needs a very good composer to blend high notes with the low and
medium notes. Few singers like rafi, suman, mahinder could sing high notes.
So if one was writing for other singers, one would have to change the
music, and almost all of the composers did, making their work so so. In my
humble opinion, a composition should be supreme and the composer should
look for singers who can do justice to their composition.

Beautiful sweet rafi suman duet, the evergreen composition of roshan.
suman,s wavering voice can be judged very well quite different from lata
ji. excellent upload.

Rafi Sahab I miss you, really miss you.

I've noticed that Indian film heroes are rough with their heroines
(pulling, pushing, etc.). Has this been noticed by others, or is it a
subject and prejudicial observation?

ecoz incan on Saturday, March 02, 2013
Pradeep seemed to use too much of make up in almost in all his movies

Abhishek Shukla on Monday, March 25, 2013
Missing Lataji in this song, she could have done justice to this song.

Deon Persaud on Saturday, April 06, 2013
Suman Kalyanpur can sing I tell you. She has a stronger and richer voice
that Lata M.

Deon Persaud on Saturday, April 06, 2013
Suman Kalyanpur can sing I tell you. She has a stronger and richer voice
that Lata M. Just listen carefully when she hit the high notes.

Deon Persaud on Sunday, April 07, 2013
Yeah, she wanted to do justice to Mohd. Rafi too.

sheesabidi on Wednesday, April 17, 2013
Agree..Lata ji would have done justice..

Mayur Zaveri on Thursday, May 09, 2013
Md.Rafi Sahab and Suman Kalyanpur's best duet song.

rajhans sarjepatil on Friday, May 10, 2013
Mr.Deon you are under wrong impression,Suman's voice clearly detoriates in
high notes and also her voice sometimes resembles to another noisy singer
Sharda.Though Suman has sung some great songs but not this one.definately

Rmehtacpa on Monday, June 24, 2013
And yet if one notes her top ones, suddently than bring her down to Sharda
level is certainly an insult to her.

Prasad Naigaonkar on Tuesday, August 06, 2013
Aisa beautiful melodious song humne bhi kahi nahi suna. One of the light

sugar. Thanks for sharing this song.

I repect Lata and a big fa but I have heared she also ruined the future of
manygod singerso that time like Summan, by using its influence on Indian
film industry. Can anybody rekon this ...

rk10101 on Sunday, September 08, 2013
U did not mention Roshan the maestro behind all these wonderful
compositions who created heavenly music in many films!

rk10101 on Sunday, September 08, 2013
Suman has been a great singer, but in this song her voice wobbles a lot.
Since the scale reqd here is very high on higher notes her voice loses
consistency. She has many wonderful songs to her credit and her voice is
just beautiful.

nazim shirur on Friday, September 27, 2013
Very true when ever a Composer chose Suman or even Asha (Her own sister)
Lata got upset and gave hard time to the composer

nazim shirur on Friday, September 27, 2013
I totally did agree Suman is very good in this song too!!!!!

Ultra Hindi on Tuesday, January 28, 2014

M. Saleem Raikodi Raikodi on Tuesday, April 29, 2014
The sweetest note in this song is when Rafi says "Zulfein na teri choom
lein aye MAAHJABEEN hum. When he rolls that word maahjabeein its just
amazing only amazing.

MUJAHED NAWAB on Saturday, July 12, 2014
Its not fair to mention the name of lyricst of beautiful song.

Arun Kaul on Friday, November 07, 2014
TIME AND AGAIN SUMAN HAS PROVED THAT SHE WAS BETTER SINGER THAN LATA
JI.

Mercy Daven on Saturday, March 28, 2015
Another example of Rafi's incredible ability to change the tone of his
voice. Whenever I listen to this song I am struck by this aspect. He was
able to do magic with his voice that no other singer could. Not to the same
extent or successfully anyway.

Mercy Daven on Saturday, March 28, 2015
I used to think Lata was the overall best female singer but now I find
Suman Kalyanpur is equally good in her singing ability. In addition she has
a much richer voice that doesn't fray at high pitches like Lata's. It will
be interesting what Mohd.Rafi thought. As a considerate person who didn't
want to hurt anybody's feelings, he probably would never have let that be
known . So we might never find out.

Jyoti Nimade on Thursday, April 30, 2015
