this song can not be appreciated if sung by the present singers female and male as they lack the voices of Zohraji or Ameerbaiji or surendraji. Original version would be always great. It is not to belitle the present ones. The golden age singers have vanished after contributing great treasures to us.We must be proud of them and should not forget them. They might not have received awards like our present actors and singers receive, but they were great artists and made us lives worthliving.

Madam Zohrabai with her Punjabi touch makes this song memorable for eternity.She has her own class by itself like Ameerbaiji. Immortal singer actor Surendranathji with his golden voice with heavy bass in this song is most well suited for this song than any other singer and the song became a classic indeed.What a solace it gives the troubled soul.God bless you for uploading this song

Very rare duet by the immortal singers Surendraji and Zohrabai Ambalawaliji. It is an excellent classical style song indeed.I am much attached to Ambala as my posting in army was Ambala cantonment way back in 1969 as an young lieutanant.
