If I'm not wrong, 'Sharda' had a very atypical theme. Especially for its
time. Raj Kapoor and Meena Kumari love each other. He goes abroad for his
higher studies and when he returns, he gets a shock of his life! For some
reason, Meena Kumari had got married to Raj Kapoor's father! And I think,
Raj Kapoor marries Shyama. I remember watching a Malayalam movie
'Nityakanyaka' based on this movie...

Beautiful song, Brilliance of Anna (as C Ramchandra or Ram Chitalkar was
known to close ones) but unfortunately there is a mismatch between lip
movement and song's words. See how each stanza is composed differently and
equally melodious.

sweet voices of Lata & Asha ji. The non synchronization of words & lip
movement in the frame. But enjoyed the sublime melody. Very very sweet

Pure melody by three vetarans CR, Lataji and Ashaji! ye purane gane suneke
baad dil ko sukun milta hai ! When i listen this song, I play it at least
for 3 to 4 times minimum.Thanks for uploading this masterpiece!
