Edwin Nand on Tuesday, September 04, 2012 If you've ever been in a recording studio, you'll see the amount of
concentration and dedication it takes to get the right notes. Smiling or
'looking romantic' as you say can affect the voice quality of a/any singer.
They're not stage performers or bollywood actors which would require them
to 'smile for the camera'. They are real artists with real talent. P.S I
don't understand a word of what they are saying but I love the song
regardless, and I still find it romantic. Try closing your eyes! :-)
roshna john on Monday, December 31, 2012 Its not like they are using cast name..its their surname.called by your
surname is very normal in western country and since we Indians imitate
western culture, its just another example that we are following
them(westerns)still. my surname is john and people were i work never called
me by my first name..dey always called me mrs john.well they used to call
me john and i wanted to add mrs just to make others realise that im female.
when me n my hubby work in the same place, we are both called John!
Nirosh Siriwardena on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 This is one of the best Re-makes I've every heard in my life. It's soothing,
extremely relaxing.Techniques used (both vocal and technical) are quite
impressive.Vocal scale one o two notes lower than the original sung by
Shriya Ghoshal but the taste it add to this song is fantastic. All the
instruments has that low base frequencies; perfect.Pauses, breaks, add-up
beats, synchronize used is impressive. In a nut shell; outstanding
performance.Complements to Iyre Sis and Shunker.8th cons listening!
Suganya Kannan on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 This is my mother tongue Tamil and beautiful composition by AR
Rahman!Though I am not great in translating in a poetic manner the song
translates like this Munbe vaa en anbe vaa-Come before me Oh my dear! Udan
Vaa Uyire Vaa-Come right now Oh my Life! Munbe vaa en anbe vaa-Come before
me,Oh my dear! Poo povai poo pom vaa-Let's blossom like flowers! Naan naa
kaetten ennai naa ne-Is it me?Really me?I asked myself! Naan nee than
nenjam sonnathey-But I am you, told my heart! Munbe vaa (Repeat)
RandOceans on Friday, December 09, 2011 I'm sure COke studio india would defend their show as being true to
original indian classical music -- hwich i guess is the point of this
platform - that is to get back to the roots of good music. in that case
maybe I'm not ready for such music or maybe...maybe the music they like
doesn't really sound good - unless you've been training for a million years
and have the theoretical understanding to appreciate its nuances and
revelations. SO we cant blame Coke India in that case.
RandOceans on Friday, December 09, 2011 yeah. I dont get it, why is this version better than Coke Studio India?
Something is seriously flawed with the way things are managed in those
productions. The song selections of some, like for Shaan (thats the one l
recently saw) surprised me. "jab se tere naina" . I mean what are they
basing their song choices on? Are the music makers in India lost in their
own exclusive world of music? did they not care for the platform? Its so
interesting this version is better.
Jaiman K on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 I believe, that since the caste system was formed millenniums ago (by
humans - the caste is not explicitly said in any scripture), that this
lifestyle is so ingrained in Indian culture, that it each of the varnas has
become a microculture in India, there is no denying. However, I am a
brahmin, but not proud... I believe this because this segregation has
caused immense pain to many people, and largely prohibits the progress of a
healthy collective culture of India.
nish shan on Monday, February 10, 2014 what the heck is dat?? the daily school assebliy prayers used to be better,
I mean I am sorry girls you might consider changing the flow of the song a
