It's an eery feeling that whenever I listen to Mukesh's voice off the
screen, the image that instantly emerges in my mind is that of Raj Kapoor,
not of Mukesh himself ! The two were long inseparable as if they were
invisibly joined at the hip. Although Mukesh sang for other actors too, he
and RK jointly triumphed at home and abroad in ways not equaled in their
era by another pair. Thanks, Suhanee.

WOW !!! Jaanu I can see how busy you are but finally got Romantic & out of
world song of Mukesh Saab we use to call it voice of Raj saab. .loved most
of his songs. Movie Aashiq has all the popular songs and movie it self was

The song here (Main Aashiq Hoon Bahaaron Kaa) is credited to Lata
Mangeshkar, and while there is no disputing her superlative status and
quality, this particular song is by Mukesh alone. Lata Mangeshkar has
indeed sung many other songs in this film including duets with Mukesh. But
this one is a solo.
