Yogesh Damle on Monday, April 08, 2013 My two cents... The second stanza begins with "और" implying- "Listen
further..." और नदी-पन जल निर्मल कीन्हीं समंदर कर दीन्हीं खारी The last
verse is मीरा के प्रभु गिरिधर नागुन राजाजी तो का न बिचारी Meaning- Krishna
is my only saviour. My own king cares little.
Mukes Gupta on Sunday, April 01, 2012 SJ Thanks for your excellent collections in your inimitable style - really
appreciate all your efforts - keep up the good work and may Lord Ram bless
all on this auspicious day of Ramnavmi! For point (2) my understanding is
"Rajaji toh Kauna bichari" as follows: Meera's lord is only Gridhar, the
one without attributes, so in front of Giridhar who is bothered about the
King (Rana)" I am not sure though..

Mg Bhat on Friday, June 03, 2011 What a beautiful bhajan by Meera Bai on strange ways of fate. An equally
good English translation. I could not find the lyric in two bhajan books I
referred to but found it here. Thanks. A masterly composition by
Hridaynathji in raag Hamsadhvani and divine singing by Lataji. A wonderful
experience. Note the jalatarang interludes.
Mukes Gupta on Sunday, April 01, 2012 Thanks Mirabai! with yr blessings few words.. Iswar ki krupa nyari

Shivaram L on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 A beautiful enlightening song in simple words educating us on the
vagaries, impermanence and therefore un-importance of ordinary life and
guiding us to place our mind at the feet of the lord.
