@yasaryousafzai i think it refers to Dashrath from Ramayan. Ram's father.
he made a promise to his wife which later caused Ram to go on exile. I am
not sure but i think he is trying to say that he is willing to give her a
promise as significant as Dasrath's promise to Kaykayi if only she would
wake up again.

The point is not that she didn't cheat on him, but that he killed her. You
have no right to hurt a person, even if they cheat on you. Just dump that
person and that's it. It's not like anybody owns anybody.

Very sad end of the movie. Also a lesson for those girls who blindly fall
in love with gangsters n a lesson for those men who blindly punish their
loved ones. This song brings tears in my eyes.
