So refreshingly different from the usual thrill-giving songs of the
OPN-Rafi-Asha combination. Most creations of the trio were either lively
street songs , party songs or cabaret songs. This one and a few more like
it were fit for the finest traditional mehfils. Many thanks,kpm5866.

Very few compositions rise up to this level of romance: its a tribute to
the talents of all involved: Majrooh/OP/Asha/Rafi and all those wonderful
instrumentalists, especially that violin guy. Very beautiful duet indeed.

Mr. Ashwini is right. This movie was released in August or Sept 1965. All
the songs , including " hamare to" duet of Asha and Rafi was there in film
picturised on Asha Parekh and Bishwajit. But this song was not included in
VCD/ DVD

jab dil se humne jod liya dil ka silsila, aage hai kya naseeb mein jaane
meri bala Listen to "Jod" when he sings second time, and also "bala"...It's
killing!! Rafi Sahab = definition of music.
