This one is in Hindi. The wordings of the songs have a profound
philosophical meaning. The third stanza : Parde ke piiche bethi saaval
gori, thaamke tere mere man ki dori... really invokes the eternal One
within all of us...gori is used generally for a beautiful belle, but here
the implications are much higher. Yeh dori na choote, yeh bandhan na
tuye...bhor hone wali hai, ab raina hai thodi...the dawn of awakening is
coming soon, The gori, is really the eternal Self within.

person having reasonable knowledge in Hindi would have found it difficult
to understand the Philosophical meaning this song carries along with. So it
could also mean like this in simpler terms "When you are born you cry and
the world laughs at you, so lead a life such that when you die you laugh
and the world cries at you". A True Meaningful Classical Song.

Raj Kapoor was great personality he was the pride of bollywood and is the still the pride name of bollywood..His songs were the reality of ordinary persons life...Only hes presence in the film or in songs were enough to make the film hit or popular at least..i wondet why asked mandakini to do those scenes in ram teri ganga meli...
