When a child starts growing him or her always carry some thing in their
memory from their parents. It is a natural course. I was not more than 5-6
years old when I heard my father singing this song as we all normally does
every now and then. After indulging me in music, (starts accumulating
evergreen songs) while I was still a teen ager, was not aware that this
song was sung by Lata, When I purchased a 33 rpm long plays, I found it

so sweetly sung by our divine lata ji . ! this divine composition with
minimal orchestration , combined with lata ji's divine rendition sounds
more like a sweet bhajan to me , close to ae ri main to prem diwanee , also
from this movie ! thank you so much for this musical delight !
