Ik roz mili thi tumse nazar aayenge is dinki kisko khabar waha geet khushi ke hai lab par ... armano ka maatam hai idhar,,,, How grand are the lyrics of the song expressing deep grief and sorrow. Surendraji in fact was the urbanized version of the sad hero Devdas that was played by Saigal sahib in 1935 that made waves in India.Surendraji portrayed many such roles in most of his movies such as Anmolghadi( Eternal hit), Elan, Dukhiyari, Garib, Anokhi ada and there was none to beat him.

Thanks a lot for uploading this rare song which is a gem.Surendranathji has rendered this song with lot of emotions and dard in his voice. Lyrics have been fantastic and each and every word in this song have been written with great understanding. To this added was Sri Gyan Duttajis music and the master piece was the outcome.Finally it was Surendraji who sang thsi song and none could be so befitting for this song .

`When we hear this song at high volume, the voice of Surendraji does not appear haevier than what he always has. At lower volume, it sound heavier. It is a peculiar phenomenon of his voice.I also found that at lower levels of volume the speakers vibrate too.
