Lilting tune by Kalyanji-Anandji, naughty lyrics by Anand Bakhshi and
spotless rendition by Asha Bhosle make this a memorable song. This song has
a stark resemblance to "raat akeli hai" from Jewel Thief, another Dev Anand
hit that came a couple of years before Mahal. It appears that the Mahal
team was challenged to produce something equally good, and I think they
delivered!
