The songs of Wapas were comparable to Dosti in their brilliance. LP and
Rafi combined to give absolutely superb compositions. LP remained eternally
grateful to Rafi. I admire their integrity. Even during his lean patch
during the first half of the seventies, LP stood by Rafi and they were
chiefly instrumental in bringing him back to the top once again. Destiny
also rewarded LP for their good deeds. They themselves remained at the top
much longer than any of their rivals.

The melody of the song is mesmeric. He gave elegance to the song by his
tuneful rendering. Melodious voice like rafi saabs can not die. he is
evergreen and everlasting. his voice was the miracle of nature. Thanks for
the wonderful posting:)

It is said that many a movie had people returning to watch simply because
of the golden voice of Rafi Saab!. Movies with unknown actors road on the
wings of the King that was, still is and will ever be of playbacks!!

Rafi has sung a great masterpiece. The voice is so soft yet powerful. The
range is limitless. Rafi took Indian music to extreme heights. I have heard
this song a thousand times and every time it sounds better.
